Why does your child need Athletic Performance Enhancement Training? With sports becoming more and more competitive, young athletes need every opportunity to fine tune their skills in order to make the team or earn that starting position. The HP Athletic Performance Enhancement Program provides athletes with the tools necessary to compete at an optimal level for their individual sports. With programs offered Fall, Spring, and Summer, HP offers a way for your student to prepare for the upcoming season.

Why HP? Our trainers follow an organized, systematic approach to help your athlete progress and improve their abilities. We know what the high school coaches are looking for! Working with our highly knowledgeable trainers will help your athlete improve speed, strength, endurance, and flexibility while providing a positive atmosphere where your athlete will increase his or her confidence and build leadership skills that will make him or her stand out in the crowd. We will give your athlete the tools he or she needs to successfully transition to the next level in athletics.

How does the program work? How long will the program last?

Prior to training each athlete will undergo a pre-training assessment that will allow a trainer to proceed in working and setting goals for each athlete. This assessment includes weight and body fat testing, vertical jump, shuttle run, and postural, core strength and flexibility assessments.

Athletes will be assigned to small groups of no more than three, according to their sports. Each small group will meet for two, one hour sessions per week with a trainer who will personalize a program for your athlete. Then, every other Saturday all participants will meet together for various planned activities that could include guest speakers and special presentations, large group workouts, or goal setting seminars. The program will last three months or 12 weeks.

What is your investment in the program?

For Spring 2009, members who are already personal training or returners to the program will receive a discount for their children at a rate of $199 per month and a one time registration fee of $49.

All members: Registration fee: $99, $249 per month

Non-members: Registration fee: $99, $299 per month

*Athletes have full access to the club while in the program.
